With losing Mr. Meredith, I think if it hadn't been for you working with Kayla there is no way she could have been prepared or had the attention and opportunity to perform her KMEA solo. I am sure all of your students feel the same. It is rare to find someone with the patience, knowledge, talent and motivation to help develop these kids. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you, Gretchen!! ----Jill.
Sarah was thrilled to see you this week to tell you about the success of her piano lesson and the progress she had made with the theory workbook in which you have been instructing her. You have a very special way of motivating your students which is a wonderful gift--especially when it is in regard to teenagers who often don't respond well to advice from grown-ups! Thank you for sharing your kindness and talents. -----Beth.
Dear Gretchen,
So very glad you loved your gift. These angles are collectibles which I personally collect and are hand carved by the artist. It's our special way of saying thank you for sharing your remarkable gift while instilling confidence, enthusiasm and hopes of future success to those you teach. See you Tuesday! --------Susan
Gretchen, I just can't tell you how happy I am to finally see Katie come around. I knew she would and breaking up with her boyfriend definitely helped! The other HUGE reason is of course BECAUSE OF YOU!!
I can see that you and Katie truly have a special bond and for that I'm so grateful. You not only encourage her but your manner of teaching TOTALLY agrees with her. You've really made an impact on her not only through her vocal production but also with her self-confidence. It always helps to hear that from someone other than your MOM! Thanks for all you do!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -------Theresa
Hi Gretchen,
I fully intended but obviously forgot to tell you about the ADHD (attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder). My mistake--sorry about that. Thanks for all your hard work with Annie. You have given her new confidence and a greater ability and reason to focus in a more concentrated way for longer times. Her music with you is definitely helping the problem--a minor miracle! Thank you so much! ----Katherine
Gretchen,
THANKS for everything this year! Austin has improved so much with you, but I think the biggest area is self confidence, which of course, carries over into the vocals.
As you probably know, my husband still does not have a job so we feel we can't commit to anything for now, but we plan on Austin continuing with you somehow. We'll wait 'til later in the summer to try to confirm with you. He's giving up piano before voice. ----Lisa
I am thrilled that Shelby is doing so well, she LOVES her lessons with you. She has wanted to take lessons for the longest time, but every time I checked, they said wait 'til she is older. She really is enjoying you and her lessons.
Thank you. ------Rosie
Gretchen: As always, I thank you for the very nice things that you have to say about Helen, both personally and in terms of her vocal development. She would undoubtedly not be where she is now in terms of her singing without all of the training that you have provided to her. Many thanks again.
Best regards, John
Thanks again for all your guidance and help. You are really good with Katie. First words out of her mouth when she got in the car were "that was fun". Music to my ears!!!!
Thanks again! --------Jennie
I'm so proud of how my daughter has done in school this first semester, and you know I'm crazy about her. I'm thankful for what you have done with her. Her improvement in her singing really has helped her overall self image. That's a gift from God, Gretchen, and we so sincerely thank you. You're a professional but with a heart! Thank you also for your personal concern for her and for the stewardship of her talents. God bless you in this vocation and ministry. ----Paul
Thanks for all you are doing to develop Jack's voice and his personal self-confidence! It's making a big positive difference in his whole life! -----Mary Ann
